Hello :wave:
I went grocery shopping tonight, walked past frozen section of pies, and thought...nah... they don't really look that nice. So I bought some puff pastry and beef in hope that I would make some home made pies :D
So, does anyone make pies and if so can you please give me some directions/recipes/tips, so on and so forth :) !!!

We either make up a casserole & then use the leftovers to make up a pie using puff pastry or make up a savoury mince then again use the puff pastry & even mashed potato on top to make a shepards pie :)
To make up my savoury mince i use :
( Warning i dont use quantities just go by taste ! )
Beef mince
Mixed frozen vegies or fresh whatever is on hand !
Gravox
Boiling water
Beef stock
Dried mixed herbs
Worchestershire sauce
BBQ sauce
Anything else that takes our fancy on the nite hehe !
Brown mince & throw in mixed herbs about a tablespoon to begin with more can be added later & same with the beef stock.
Once brown put about a tablespoon of Gravox into the pan mix through then add boiling water slowly until it thickens nicely then add some BBQ & worchestershire sauce to taste add more stock or herbs as neccesary again for taste.
Throw in as much or as little vegies as you want & simmer until they are cooked.
Just add more water as needed to keep the sauce from getting too thick.
This is a fav of ours just with mashed potato on a cold winters nite but is just as yummy as a pie !
