¿Have you considered using a Midwifery Student?
My Name is Miriam and I am a Second year Student of Midwifery at Flinders University.
As a student, one of the roles I have is providing individualised continuity of care to expectant mothers and their families.
Continuity of Care is especially important during pregnancy as it encourages women to form a trusting bond with their care-provider(s). By allowing a midwifery student to join you during this time, you are able to stay within your chosen model of care, without having to compromise on your level of continuity.
My aim is to support women through their journeys, help them when they are making choices, and support them once their choices are made.
