View Full Version : Natural Nappies
I have a few nappies but I think i am going to sell half of them. I only really like the natural nappies - ie. no pul or nylon or polyester. I like the bamboo, organic cotton and hemp.
I am wondering if anyone is keen on them or am i alone?
I have BBH, Baby Greens, and Baby Eco.

:smiliedance: Love my Baby Beehinds!!!:smiliedance: Have to admit, my favourite combination is my Bamboo nappy and wool cover. And second place would be my hemp one. i also have a couple of other hemp ones that I bought cheap on Ebay and they last all night too. :yelclap:
I keep joking about the stash that I will have to sell in a couple of years-someone is going to get a great collection!:D
I love love love my organic nappies- hemp, bamboo and cotton with a wool cover over the top. Perfect combination and makes sense to me!
BUT, I do use fleece liners, because I like to use liners in the nappies on Matthew, but they are totally optional!
bring on the naturals!
Yay for Sal and Lucy! It makes sense to me too.
I like wool covers too - I have almost as many wool covers, soakers and longies as I do nappies.
Actually i discovered modern cloth through my passion for knitting!
Wool is amazing.

Nope, not alone. I converted to pockets for the sheer convenience (with DH and grandparent's changing nappies) but in the heat of summer find myself going back to just plain fitteds with no cover for DS.
For bub #2, I've stocked up on some custom made Erica's with organic cotton velour inners, bamboo soaker and cotton outers. I'm currently on the hunt for some girly coloured wool soakers too because I think wool is the best for breathability. I'm sure I'll switch over to PUL pockets when she's older but for the early stages, I want to keep things as natural as possible.

:yelclap: for wool! I make all our children's soft toys from wool fleece and felt too. In fact we try to keep all their play things along the lines of natural fibres but the lego and marbles have a place here too. :D
My kids have so many plastic toys so I don't buy any more. Other people do for my kids so don't need to. I like wooden toys like the one in my avatar. I used to knit toys haven't for a while.
Yes, spoilt baby, LucyE. Sometimes I wish i could have the lovely things i have for my kids, esp babies. How hard is it to get anything in natural for adults? I have a few hemp shirts and one organic tee. Wish i could have more for my son - he has eczema and asthma.
The sun is out today - its such a glorious day....for washing nappies!
