hi everyone,

id really like some ideas, suggestions on what to write on my beautiful baby boys plaque. its been two and a half years and we still havent done it, purely because we dont know what to write. there is limited space and it makes it hard. I mean what can you write to some it all up in a few lines???
i know its a personal thing and should be what come from the heart from me and dp but i can write just a few little things its sooo hard. it will be his third birthday in feb and i would like to have it done by then. please can some of you help me out.

there can be six line on the plaque,
the first is his name, second is his date of birth, that leaves four lines which can have 26 characters in each line and that includes spaces and grammar.

Ive looked on the internet and would please appreciate any replies.

TIA if anyone replies.

Firstly, :hugs:.
But how lovely you are doing this. Maybe just write something about how you will always be with him, or how he is always in your thoughts/heart?

Hopefully someone else comes along with something for you!

-just a thought.
Is there anything in particular you wanted to say, any phrases or special words you would like to use? If you give us some idea then maybe someone can rephrase it or make it shorter etc?
:hugs: I understand how hard it must be, no words could ever sum up how you feel.

Id like to include something about being in heaven/with god and being an angel if that gives any ideas, thanks ladies!

missymoo- its a hard decision, maybe you'll find some inspiration in this:

We thought of you with love today,

But that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday,

And days before that too.

We think of you in silence,

We often speak your name.

All we have are memories,

And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake,

With which we will never part.

God has you in His keeping,

We have you in our hearts.

A million times we’ve wanted you

A million times we’ve cried.

If love could only have saved you,

You never would have died.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you didn’t go alone

For a part of us went with you

The day God called you home.

So sorry for your loss & want to give you some of these :hugs:

Below are some four line quotes/poems that might fit the bill. I truly hope you find something that matches how you feel.

Your smile has gone forever,
And your hand we cannot touch,
We have so many memories,
Of you, the son we loved so much.

As angels keep their watch up there,
Please, God, let him know,
That we down here, do not forget,
We love and miss him so.

Everyday in some small way,
Memories of you come our way,
Though absent, you are always near,
Still missed, loved, always dear

Loving you is easy,
We do it every day,
Missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.

Our hearts still ache in sadness,
Our silent tears still flow,
For what it meant to lose you ..(Name)..
No one will ever know.

If tear drops could build a stairway
And memory a lane,
We’d walk the long road to reach,
And bring him home again.
