Hello lovely ladies.
I am currently working F/T mum to 2 kiddies. While I do enjoy my professional 'career', I really also couldn't give a fat rats about it. My lifelong dream is to be a SAHM with a white picket fence, a vegie patch, and bake my own bread :p

My husband has got a job O/S - we move in 1 month - and I am soooooo excited cuz I get to be a SAHM again!! :goodvibes: (Did I mention how happy I am?).

I need your help and advice to adjust and get back into the SAHM 'zone'. So - pls tell me:

What do you LOVE about being a SAHM?
How do you structure your day?
What are your tips for survival?
Any other thoughts or advice :p

1- Seeing the kids all the time. Sharing those special moments that I might miss if I were working. Being spontaneous "Lets go to the park today!"
2- Um, I dont have structure yet :o
3- Coffee:D Now all the lcal activities ie: library, parks, swimming pool
4- Enjoy!

where abouts are you moving?
contact ex-pat organisations over there.
local community groups should run playgroups or rhyme time activities.
I love thinking 'what should we do today?' and not having to rush to leave the house.

1: pyjama days! and enjoying together time and a closer family bond
2: we have a routine that we sorta work to that took a while to figure out
3: having back up activities, knowing where the parks are, having a weekly planner on the wall with activities that DS can stick on at the start of the day so we kinda have an idea of what is likely to happen.
4: take it as it comes and "don't sweat the petty things"

What do you LOVE about being a SAHM? I love that I am with my kids 24/7 so I don't miss out on anything!

How do you structure your day? All about routine here!!!

What are your tips for survival? Routine, if I didn't have a routine I would be an emotional wreck, and organization!!!! Getting out of the house, e.g. regular visits to a friend/family/shops etc taking the kids to the park.

Any other thoughts or advice? I love being a stay at home mum, some days are bad don't get me wrong, they only stay little for so long and I enjoy every minute of it!
