I love Christmas it's my favorite time of year...

I started a tradition 8 years ago with our ds and we go to the carols every year... Have done it with all the kids once they have come along or been pregnant with them.'

This year won't be able too. I'll either be pregnant and due a week later or I'll have a very new newborn. I don't go on my own so would have help but prob not the best conditions for a new baby.

We can't work and have so many doctors appts etc coming up for ds2 and his upcoming surgery. And just realized we have 4 more centerlink pays before Christmas. We have one thing for each of the boys. We have nothing for our families.. Both from families of 6. With 3 nieces in addition.

Alot of my family are like well I have to buy for your kids what are you getting me... His family like you putting in a set amount...

If we are able to get them something it will be like. $10 thing and that makes me feel bad.

Then ds2 birthday is a week later. I feel like I'm failing. I know it's not about giving and I'd be happy to not receive but Christmas is my favorite time of year and it sucks I cant give my kids a nice Christmas and keep up our traditions all because I have a dodgy body.

OMG @ 4 more Centrelink pays!!!

Uh oh...

Hey you could always turn on the TV and have those candles with the batteries that you can get from the $2 shops and do Carols in your home. That's what we do when we can't get out for whatever reason.

Can you get to your local carols?

In reg to your family- start getting creative! The family will just have to put up with it- and hey, maybe a really good opportunity to remind everyone what Christmas is REALLY about! Family, love, friends, being together.
