Any thoughts on Paed at Mater

Can anyone recommend a Paed at Mater Priv.
I have been given the names of Prado, James and Easterbrook. Any thoughts?

We had Tony Prado when DD was born and he was lovely.

Luckily we never had health issues with DD though just a couple of routine newborn check-ups so we've had a pretty limited exposure with paeds.

Prado is the most amazing dr alive ds1 was prem and I was really sick and separated from himtge only thing that made it ok was that I knew he was being looked after by prado

Prado a legend - well worth it. Great man - deals with you and your child in a gentle but frank manner. Doesn't seem to dramatise anything yet will definately listen to concerns and follow up on these.

we had tony prado. he's nice and babies love him. our bubba always calmed down immediately with him.

I had Dr Easterbrook but next time I'll be asking for Dr Prado :)

Oh I had dr easterbrook on the weekend when Tony went away! Loved him too, if I couldn't get Tony he would be my next choice, only being a c-sect lady I would rather as few people as possible see me splayed out naked on the operating table, so hopefully will have Tony each time

Tony Prado took care of our son when his lung collapsed at 2 years old and we had no hesitation in asking for him again when our new bub was born. He was fantastic with both - highly recommend him.

With dd I had dr prado (excellent and so nice) but on the weekend he was off so I had dr. Easterbrook (dd was in special care) he medically was excellent but I found him very abrupt and rude. But he i believe he is a good thorough dr. Between the two I would go prado though. He is the whole package. Plus his fees went to our healthfund not from our pocket. Next bub I will go to him again in a heart beat!!

We had Prado too and he was great. When he was away we had Dr Seeto who I would also recommend.
