I am wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for GPs on Brisbane's southside who specialise in peadiatrics or who are just good with kids and don't just fob you off?

Someone who also can be a GP to mum and dad would also be great!

Thanks!

I can highly reccomend Dr Allan Tham at Chatswood Hills Medical Centre Daisy Hill, I have been going there myself since I was about 7 (I am 24 now) and my brother and sister have gone and my kids go. He is lovely, we used to see a different doctor in the same complex when we were little and my sister must have been about 3 and she was very sick and the doctor on duty said she had a cold, my Mum did not believe that....we went to Dr Tham who said take her to the hospital, turns out she had meningitis (sp?). He is great, never had any problems with him and is great with children.

Thank you so much - do you know if he does immunisations there as well - my current one doesnt (as well as not doing a whole host of things to be honest?). Also is it easy to get in to see him and is there a long wait normally?

Again thanks for your help! Its hard finding one these days!
