Very excited coz DH and I have decided to TTC #2. :smiliedance: We tried last month but not very hard, dont even think I ovulated. DS was concieved in our first month of trying as my o time was exactly 1/2 way through cycle.

Anyway, I just have a question... Think I might use an OPK this month but dont actually know how they work. I take my temp but didnt have an increase last month? Did I Ovulate? Also with OPKs do they have no line when not O- a faint line before o and a dark line when O??? Hope that makes sense.

Reason I ask is we would like to try for a girl so I know that you need to bd about 3 days before.

Im not going to be upset at all if we get another boy, as long as baby is healthy but will try the different suggestions and :fingerscrossed: for a girl.

Hey :smiliedance: yay hopefully you get pregnant straight away again!
It took us 4 months this time and the from my last AF till now we had'nt really been trying.
We would like a sister for Tristan but same as you we wont be :( if we have another boy and later on there will be a 3rd baby.. :laughing:

Anyway good luck with TTC! I think the key is not to try too hard, cos i think when people try really hard it is harder to get Pregs.

i will come join you and we can ttc together i to am using opk but am opposite to you as we are trying for a boy, im very excited as this will be my first month ttc post mc still just waiting for my dark line on opk still very faint as its only day 14 and i think i have long cycles dont really no to much about them just that i need a dark line:laughing: see how it goes

I used opk's this month. I started 6 days before I o'ed and got a plain negative line(no faint line) for 2 days, the 3rd and 4th day there was a very faint line and, on the 5th day it was much darker but not quite positive, so I took another one later in the evening and it ws dark positive. I have only tested this month with them, I used them in the past and never got a positive. For a girl I would start bd'ing before the faint line all the way until you see a faint line and then stop.

Its strange this time coz with DS we just tried on Day 15 of my 30 day cycle and it worked first time. Im sure if I tried on day 15 again it would work but keen to try and do the suggested things for a girl... although in saying that, definately wont be disappointed with another boy as long as we have a healthy baby!

I hope it works this month! This will technically be our first REAL month of trying coz I dont think I od last month??? Is that normal???

I saw that you were gonna wait til the end of the year, thats the same as me. We were going to wait til mid next year but DH and I both couldnt wait to have a bro or sis for our lil man!:D

It's hard waiting esp when so many bubhubbers are TTC and getting BFP's! Makes me so clucky!!

Thanks Leanne! I have been trying for 3 months this time around so far. I have long 38 to 40 day cycles and didn't ovulate until the 25th day into my cycle this month. Af should be due the 7th going by when I ovulated and assuming I have a 14 day Luteal Phase. Another words I never know when af is due until it arrives. I will be testing the 10th if no af by then.
