Hi all, I don't know if it is just me but I am getting really frustrated with disposable nappies. They just don't seem to fit right. My dd who is by no means big for her age, she weighs 7.5 kg is now wearing toddler sized nappies for kids 10-15 kg.

I know the sizes on the packs are just a guide, but I find them very misleading. We have tried many different brands, and I have so many open packets of nappies with just one or two used because even though I followed the sizing recommendation they were just too small. Why can't manufacturers make sample packs for you to buy before you commit to a whole big pack of nappies

Anyway thats just my rant. I joke with my dd saying the nappies don't fit because she has a big bum like her mummy :o

Hi! I can't say i've ever had that problem. If i were you i'd be ringing the manufacturer, maybe they've labeled the packet wrong. I use Snugglers & Huggies. I don't know if that makes any difference?

I had the same problem with my daughter but my son is the oppersite, he still fits into the nappies long after the wieght guide says he should. Although he was born a healthy 4.1kg the newborn huggies were too big. Takes after his daddy tall, skinny and no bum. :D

my daughter is the same. I think she is just wide around the waist (doesn't look fat but is a tall big kid).

Try the Woolworths/Safeway homebrand nappies ... they are just as good as the more exy brands, similar in type to snugglers and seem to fit really well. Both of my kids are still in the large size despite both being out of the weight range mentioned on the packet. It costs me approx $20 for 72 nappies and I have no complaints about them at all!
