Eating peanut butter during breastfeeding???

Quick qn ladies - is it safe to eat peanut butter during breastfeeding? I don't have any peanut allergies and nor does DH but I don't want to risk it if it can go through the milk - might be a stupid qn but I'm just worried!

I ate peanuts and peanut butter whilst pregnant and breastfeeding with both my kids without any problems at all. I have never been advised not to.

I think it is fine. I love eating toast with a ridiculously thick layer of peanut butter and i breastfeed. Never had any issues but i'm no expert on the matter.

I love peanut butter and also eat almonds and brazil nuts daily - I did so all through both pregnancies and while breastfeeding and it was all good. What I was careful about was to wash my hands thoroughly before actually feeding bub.
