Hello,

I am very interested in using fitted cloth nappies when our little one arrives (only 7 weeks now) and I would appreciate any advice/information on how to use etc.
I like the idea of a fitted cloth nappy with a disposable liner, is this possible?
Can anyone recommend any good brands?
And does anyone know of any stores in Brisbane where I can look at a finished product, or am I confined to internet shopping?

Thanking you all in advance.

Cheers,
Amanda

Check out these links:

The Nappy Lady (http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/Advice/PracticalnappyTips.asp)
Ozcloth nappies (http://www.ozclothnappies.org/)
Babybeehinds (http://www.babybeehinds.com.au/index.php)
Cherubs Kiss (http://www.cherubskiss.com/)
Nappycino (http://www.nappycino.com.au/)
Modern Nappies (http://www.modernnappies.org/)

Some sites that sell nappies, and others with great info on use of cloth.

I have not heard of any shops that stock modern cloth, however I am sure some ladies here that live in Brisbane might be able to show you thier stash!

Hello there

There are plenty of ladies here in Brisbane and surrounds who would no doubt be happy to show you their stash of nappies.

If you are down the northern end of the Gold Coast way I would be happy to show you my nappies. Apart from the ever popular Baby Beehinds Fitteds and Green Kids Pockets ( of which I have both too) I have Cute Tooshies Cuddlebuns fitteds , Tinkletots AIO (all in one) Cherubs Kiss AIO, Bubblebubs AIO, Missy Moo Pocket Nappies, Twins in Cloth fitted and a variety of different covers (ie wool jersey, wool, PUL etc)

Run a search through Bubhub on cloth nappies, there's so much. It'll keep you busy for days! Honestly, this is what I did and I found so much info and so many helpful tips.
I got trial packs and play around a bit, am only just now using them full time on my 10 week old son.
I bought disposable liners but don't use them. I just chuck the nappy straight in the wash machine as is and it's fine.
The shops I go through are Babybeehinds (http://www.babybeehinds.com.au) and Darlingsdownunder. (http://darlingsdownunder.com.au/)

Plenty of fitted nappies available online as mentioned.
You can use Eeenies disposable liners which make cleaning a little easier.
Good luck with the next 7 weeks.

Thank you sooooo much ladies, I have enjoyed having a look at all the cute nappies I could buy. We are going to have a very funky lil' boy when he appears in 7 weeks time!
I am very keen on seeing a demo Jen, so if you could email me details would be much appreciated. It is a little overwhelming and confusing, especially since the websites I've been looking at are international ones and in the UK and US they use different terminology to here in good ol' Oz!

Thanks again,

Cheers,
Amanda
