What to do??

I lost my job back in January, due to retrenchment was working there full time 5 years.. in the I.T industry.. had a little time off and then decided to look for a new job to no avail.. then fell pregnant.. so now i am at a loss as to what to do.. i want to work, but obviously i can only work for a certain amount of months, which limits me to short contract roles.. however these seem far and few between.. and the ones i have applied for i havent been successful in..

So i guess my only real option is to work from home, but i have no idea what to do??

I reallt need to work and now i am pregnant i really need to earn some cash..

Does anyone have any ideas? Be it work from home or short term roles... :o

I quit my job at the end of last year to concentrate on fertility treatments. So after successfully conceiving I found myself in a similar position to you.
I started selling on Bay (just secondhand things from home) and then I started an online business with an eBay store. I buy and sell from other auction sites and suppliers. It is only pocket money really but it keeps me occupied. Even if this sort of thing is not for you, maybe some kind of online business would be worth considering?

hi - what type of IT work did you do? i run my own website business from home and tho it was slow to start i actually had to refuse a job the other day cuz i can only really do 2 projects at once...

happy to help you with some tips tho on how i source my short term contracts - there are a few good sites out there that are very helpful in this sort of thing...
