yep i love seeing it too. I get alot of negative comments about Summer being too 'old' to be breastfed. She loves it, I love it no problem! :thumbsup:

I don't know where I got the idea to take the first photos. I think I was lying on the bed feeding her one afternoon and the camera happened to be on the bedside table. She looked so content that I wanted to some how 'capture' the moment to help me remember what it was like because she's growing up so fast. I almost can't remember what she was like as a newborn... which is probably why I have (quite literally) nearly a thousand pictures of her already.

Those pics are beautiful aren't they! I had my bub at Casey and I used to slow down to look at all the BF pics as I walked (waddled) down the hall for my midwife appointments. :thumbsup:

Poor Hamish has been really unwell since Friday but is starting to improve. This has meant he won't eat a single bit of solid food and my boobies have been working overtime-tiring but oh-so-reassuring to know that they are doing what I cannot. So here he is feeling a bit down but still feeding.

i saw the most wonderful thing the other day. a woman on a bench in the middle of the shopping centre, happily feeding her 2 year old child.

i know some people are a bit rude to people that feed in public but i thought it was fantastic. i always thought when i was pregnant, i would breastfeed in pblic if i had to but i've never actually seen anyone do it until the other day.

Notice Elouise's nice tan skin? Especially against my pasty white boobs:o I guess you can see that they never see the sun... My hubby is Chinese/Indian/Australian so he has lovely dark skin. She is gradually getting darker and darker all the time. Love it!

That last photo was such a lucky shot. All I did to it was crop it, add a border around the edge and then desaturate the colour a bit - just make it look a little "washed out" ifkwim.

I use Photoshop (my BiL is a professional nerd) though probably not very well. It's a hyper expensive and most incredibly powerful image editing tool and all I use it for usually is cropping photos :laughing:

My site (www.faeml.com) is hosted somewhere by my BiL's GF (also a professional nerd) and the domain name was last year's birthday present from them (see? Nerds ;)) Meant in the nicest possible way, though.

Yep, I stopped and she was on formula for a couple of weeks. I was in hospital on a drip of antibiotics for my mastitis. The thought of feeding her made me sick.

I felt so bad that I didn't give it a decent shot so after a couple of weeks of formula, I pumped away on the breast pump, first getting 10ml, then 20ml then slowly increasing my supply. Took a while but it worked and was so worth it:yes:

I'll keep going until she self weans:thumbsup:

im with you on the breast feeding but i couldnt bring myself to use cloth nappies. ugh.

i breast fed DD#1 till i was 7 months pregnant with DD#2 and my milk dried up.

number two is now sucking strong and loving it.

my girls both loved feeding like that too. and me being the lazy-bum that i am, love it cause i can grab taylor out of the cot at night chuck her in bed next to me and go back to sleep (ah sleep, gee i love it)

any one else ever wakeup with hickies on their boobs because hungry baby couldnt find the nipple and you didnt wake up?
has happened to me twice, the first time, my partner was away for 3 weeks, it happened the night befor he got home. you should have seen the look on his face when he saw it!!!!:eek:
poor bloke was really worried till i explained how it happened.

CALM i love the belly pics!! you looked so...well pregnant! for the first 7 months with my first i just looked chubby.

OK it's been to long since anyone posted here. I have been having a hellva time BF and only today have I started to feel OK with her feeding and as a result we took some snaps.
