mirena removal & conceiving

hi,
just wondering how long it took you to fall pregnant after you had the mirena removed?

and did your cycle go back to normal straight away after having it removed??

im getting mine removed on the 8th nov so we can ttc #2!!!

I only had mine in for about 3 months and then decided I wanted ttc #2 but my cycles went back to normal pretty much straight away. The first one was a bit long but the others were all 27 days.

We have only just started ttc this month so can't help you with that side of things.

Hi, great news you have had it removed to try for #2. A nurse told me that it often happens very quickly after the mirena is removed but I still thought maybe it would take a while so we had it removed and started trying for #1 7 weeks later BFP!! I am now 18 weeks:smiliedance:

My cycle returned 2 weeks after removal and I had 3 cycles before falling pregnant with this one. I'm now 30 weeks :)

I didnt even get a period I got pregnant first month off it!
