2 kids birthdays on the same day

I have 2 daughters born on the same day on the 21st Dec born 12yrs apart & im wondering whether to do both parties on the same day or maybe do my oldest daughters birthday the day before seeing she is turning 13yo & my other daughter is turning 1yo???

Ask your eldest daughter what she wants :) She might prefer to do something with the family on the day along with celebrating her little sister's birthday too, but given that it's school holidays she could arrange to do something with her friends after Christmas.

I think maybe ask your older one if she would like to share it with her sister or not...

i only say this because you wouldnt want her to feel as though she was 'Losing' her birthday to her her little sister or anything...

I think keeping them seperate will ensure both girls feel special, however if the older one doesnt mind then i say do it together :)

I think you should ask your daughter, at that age thought I am pretty sure she would just want to go to the movies with her friends.

my 3 kids & husbands bday are all within the 1 wk so i think i might combine next yr
