 Hello to all... I just did the test and got two bright pink lines!! Very nervous tummy churning as now I have to tell hubby who is nervous about whether now is the right time for no.2. I didn't expect it to happen so quick.
But I am sooo excited and happy. Is anyone else out in the Outer SE of Melb due around this time. I'm hoping I can contain myself and keep this a secret from family and work for at least 10 weeks... will tell a few select friends. I am so nervous about being pregnant again and going though a similiar preganancy, & labour. This time I hope that I can afford to engage a midwife and look at possibly home-water birth, that's my ideal.... finances are a big concern. I want to avoid a c-s and be a lot more in control this time. So much worry so early...anyhow little mr 3 has just woken and I'd best work out what thouse noises coming from the kitchen are!!! He has learnt to help himself to bread and peanut butter much to my consternation!!
chat more soon.

update: still going well... went to the gp to get referrals for bloodwork and 12 week ultrasound & I've been and spoken for a good hour to a independant midwife Andrea Bilcliff (anyone have any experience/feedback/comments on Andrea?) and are contemplating either a home birth, water labour and birth or maybe hospital birth if i can find a ob who is happy to support a vbac waterbirth assisted by a appointed independant midwife. i'm 80% sure i won't be going back to Dandenong Hospital due to the feeling that I wish to avoid the pressure to have induction/epidural/repeat cs etc... although I won't discount anything at this point. I'm going to go down to Warragul to visit the birthing unit there and have also made an appointment to see a Ob over there Dr David Simon... wonder if anyone has had any experience with him? But can't see him until Nov 10th. But that gives me plenty of time to check out the local Ob a new one has just started at my medical centre Dr Kelly Davis anyone have any experience of her????? .... so at this point am considering home water birth but will go hospital if after 34 weeks i have another us and the placental position is not ideal and will even consider a cs if required but this time I will plan it and be in control... at this time i'm thinking in terms of plan a, b, c, d rather than an either or scenario. also been thinking about who i will ask to be my birth supports as the people who i invited along last time were not as supportive/educated/informated/empowered as i needed, so will be aware of this and be specific about everyones roles this time..... wasn't sure where else to write all this... thought this was as good a place as any.
more later when I can get back. Kas
