Teething or not im not sure
our son Koopah is 6 months old and im just curious i am a frist time mum i will tell u what he does that makes me think he may be teething
bites the teets on his bottals
been fussy today even when eating his food he was half way through eating and he started crying and then also i gave him a teething ring from the fridge and he was happy with that and it ddint leave his mouth for like 10 mins
also drools like so much
what do u think

It could be teething from what you have described. However some kids will do this for ages before a tooth finally pops through and others will behave like this and wake up with a tooth the next day.

The teething ring should help, or if he is on solids you could try a rusk.

If he is really uncomfortable, I found the hylands teething tablets work really well.

Definitely sounds like teething. My DS would get rosy cheeks, drooling, general whinging, off his food a bit (I think he didn't like things near his mouth), wakeful at night, and with his molars he would get a sore bottom and a slight temperature.

Hope your little one is feeling more like himself soon. You could also try a dose of panadol at night if he is uncomfortable.

buddy2008 (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/member.php?u=37611) he had rosy cheeks today :( it seems at like 6ish when it happends so i give him dinner and he will eat tiny bit and then stop and just scream and then he will drink his bottal then leave some its odd mum says teething

Sounds like teething to me. Poor little bubba...


If he is really uncomfortable, I found the hylands teething tablets work really well.

:iagree: The hylands teething tablets are a godsend. I used to give these to DD instead of panadol. All natural, and IMO they work better too :yes:
