DS has been playing this toy called "Little Rhythmmaker Piano" at playgroup over and over and over and I really really want to buy something similar for him. It's made by Little Tikes.
I have looked all over the net and you can only get them in the UK and they wont post it to Australia.
Does anyone know where I can get this toy or anything similar? I dont care if it's secondhand either.
Dont you just hate it when your kids find a toy somewhere and they fall in love with it and you can't get it anywhere??? :(
Have you looked into a mail forwarding service if you can't find it anywhere else?

i have a little tikes piano, its red with xyolophone looking keys on the top and normal keys on the bottom in different colours. Is that the same thing? it doesn't say little rhythmaker on it anywhere. I got it at toyworld

Does that have just the 4 keys? The one I'm looking for has 8-10 keys. The one with the 4 keys are easy to get. It's the other one that's not easy to find :(

Yeah I bought that one off ebay, but the buttons are much smaller. He couldn't use it, so I sold it on again. A shame, because it looked very cute!

Yep that's it. I emailed them and they replied that they can no longer supply this toy. It is sooooo frustrating :(

Ahhhh man! It sucks to live regional, as our Big W's dont have them! I might have to ask friends to have a look Sydney and post it out to me. Thats the last thing I can do I guess :confused:

Have you got an IGA near you? I just saw one there for $9. Basic black with maybe 20 keys.
Big W really should be able to do a store to store transfer - they should even be able to get one sent interstate if need be. If the PP who said it was at their local Big W can let you know what store that is, then ask your local store to order a transfer from them. Offer to pay for it in advance and cover postage if you have to.
If they refuse, contact their head office. You might find they have some in their warehouse you can purchase.

Well, I just went to both Big W's again and they both said that the Little Tikes one ($19,74) doesn't get sold anymore. Neither of them knows why.
They only sell a Fisher Price one, but it's not even close to being similar. The keys are way too small and it sounds horrible. Its some cow xylophone piano thing.
I would appreciate if PP could tell me in which Big W they saw one so I can indeed ask if they could do a transfer.
Yes, I do have an IGA near me and I just went to IGA to have a look. None there. Maybe it's because it's a Ritchies IGA :confused:
Bugger! How frustrating! I hope you find one soon. I will keep my eyes out for you for one around where I live and if I see one I will message you to see if you would like me to purchase it for you and mail it to you if you like.

Tis expensive, but I think DS will love it. I will ask my parents if they want to go halves for Christmas.....
