Lower stomach/pelvic pain... should i worry?

i'm getting pretty painful.. cramps(?) in my lower stomach/pelvis area. Feels like a dull ache that gets stronger occasionally, similar to when you need to go to the loo (but i don't need to). I experienced it last week for the first time shortly before my OB said babys head had engaged a bit.

Is it just baby moving further down and putting pressure in my pelvis or is it something i should worry about?? i'm not bleeding or anything dramatic, just needing some guidance on whats happening and how i could relieve it.

it sounds like bubs is moving downwards. lucky you. :fingerscrossed: that bubs decides to come out soon as it isn't vey comfy. wait until you get that well aimed fist right in your bladder.

Pilgrim - I have been getting the same thing, its baby's head getting down where it needs to be for his birth! :thumbsup:

painful I know have been dealing with it for weeks, and he keeps getting further and further in, would think he is just about fully engaged by now! Not long and you will be holding Donovan! :smiliedance:

Oh sorry I am almost done, only 8 1/2 days to go for me! :eek: I am trying to encourage him to come now, but he isn't listening to me. :rolleyes:

Hi ladies

I know exactly how you feel! I have been getting this really strongly and my doctor said that bubs is getting very low and I still have 6 weeks to go:eek:

She warned me that I might go early so now I am freaking out!!!!!!!! but excited as well.

I find hot showers and rocking on my hands and knees helps....
