... and what I though might have been O pain was actually implantation pain...
... could I be getting pg symptoms?
Implanon came out on 2/8. AF (or something like her) came on 9/8 but was mostly just spotting, only 2 days where i actually needed a tampon and that was only for a couple hours each day (sorry TMI) then stopped dead 4 days in. Been BDing lots. 5-7 days ago getting stabby pains down low in tummy on right side.
But for the last few days I've had rotten heartburn wake me up in the morning, my boobs are so sore I cant stand having them touched and their own weight is making them hurt. My back aches, im constipated, irritable and exhausted. My sense of smell is ridiculously sensitive, and the inside of my mouth feels like its covered in a thin layer of goo thats making everything taste a little funny. Not to mention I've been doing really well on Weight Watchers and the last few days have just been eating anything thats bad for me.
So my Q is, I dont know what my cycle is at all, so I really dont know when I O'd, I've had my implanon out for a month, could I be pg?
If its possible, when do I test? I'm irrationally terrified of a BFN...
..oh and it doesnt help that DP is insisting I'm pg. he says I 'look different' and that im 'glowing' (I thought it was glowering but ok, hahah ;)) but im not letting him convince me..

Well, if the bleeding I had starting on the 9th was AF, then I guess it would be due on... 6/9. I'm just unsure as to whether that was AF, or just a withdrawl bleed from having the implant out, or what... it didnt feel like AF, but Its been so long since I had a cycle to speak of, i probably would know!!
I just hate to think I'm deluding myself, and paying too much attention to silly things that arent indicating anything... but i cant help but hope really hard!

dark brown. very very little of it was bright red and the bright red was only ever spots, nevr an actual 'flow'.

oh, i dont know if this is important either, but the brown stuff seemed like goo, rather than just blood. very mucussy and (sorry for the way TMI here!) brown colourd 'clear' blobs? like it was mucus that was coloured rather than primarily blood.
If anyone wants to tell me I sound like im tryig to convince myself, please go ahead haha :D i feel like Im just being very silly and getting worked up over nothing!
If you had AF on 9/8 and you felt stabbing pains about 5-7 days ago, then this would fit perfectly around ovulation time (eg around 14 days after AF), so this could well have been ovulation pain that you were experiencing.
Having said that, I've learnt that anything is possible when it comes to cycles, so you could be p/g as well. But if this is your first month off implanon, you may be experiencing normal post-ovulation symptoms, but because its your first month, you don't know what normal is. Perhaps keep a record of everything your feeling, just in case you aren't p/g, and then you'll know next month what 'normal' feels like for different parts of your cycle.
I agree with chicken -
I reckon its most likely that you were Oing when you had those cramping pains - so you should be able to test around the 6/9.
I know what you mean about the obsession - I obsessed over every tiny symptom in my 1st 2 months ttc - and was really glad that i had written it down cos i could compare it to my current cycle to remind myself that 'yes, you had those symptoms last month and you werent preg' - very useful! I had so many symptoms!

you guys are right, I might start a TTC journal so I remember what each time felt like and dont get all worked up over nothing. And if, by chance, i really am pg then yay!

Well I caved hahaa and did a HCG, BFN of course, even if I AM pg, I'm still not due for AF until next wednesday. They were on special at Coles and I just had to try hahahaha. Theres a spare in the box that I'll hang onto now until I miss AF, if I do...
y'know, reading that first sentence, if you didnt know the abbrviations, that would make NO sense... and why *is* addreviation such a damn long word, anyway?

Well with all the symptoms ive already stated, added to crying tonight because i bumped my elbow (not even hard!) and didnt get sympathy from DP, then getting the giggles at something not so funny and damn near throwing up from laughing and still feeling barfy, I better be friggen pregnant, coz if this is just pre-menstral and I'm in for it every month, I'm jumping off a bridge!!!:p
