How much BD works? Ladies with BFP Pls Help!

Hi Everyone :wave:

I know that many posts have been made about this question but i thought if we could get all of the ladies that have successfully concieved if they would be kind enough to answer.

How often did u BD when u got a BFP ????

I am at that time of the month to BD again and am interested how often everyone BD. I have changed from everyday to every second day still no success.

Great question Bunny. I'd love to know too. I've tried the BD marathon approach, and that didn't work, so we're going back to a more targeted approach this month. When I got my BFP, we BD'd only the day before O and O day (nothing else that week).

Hey chicken i was goig to try those OPK, but still havn't conviced myself or hubby yet. (don't know where to start)
My two were conviced at Bding twice a week, misssed out this month (usually get it first go) don't know what happened, maybe it was DH's approach of making a baby else where (sorry TMI)

Some of you are gonna hate me for saying this lol. DH and I did the BD 2 days in a row BEFORE ovulation and I fell straight away the first mth of ttc. I knew exactly when I was ovulating etc so I guess that helps.

Every second day around O worked for us.

We tried every day around O a couple of months, but it was awful. The best BD for conceiving is enjoyable BD, so unless you enjoy BD every day, I would recommend the every second day approach. :yes:

I just bought "maybe baby" from the chemist.
In the instrutctions it say's:

"when am I most LIKELY to conceive?"

HIGHLY LIKELY: If you have intercourse 1 day before to 1 day after ovulation.

LIKELY: If you have intercourse 2 to 3 days before and up to 1 day after ovulation.

NOT LIKELY: If you have intercourse 4 to 5 days before ovulation and more than 1 day after ovualtion.

Ok girls so too much of a good thing might be working against you as I'm sure it has been with me!
This month we are only going to BD twice!

We BD the day before and the day of ovulation! Luckily we got the timing right :D

WELL.... with all three of my pregnancies that "worked" I took my Ob's advice who told me that as I had a perfect 28 day cycle the ONLY times we should BD were day 10, 12, 14 and 16. It worked first time, all three times.
