glucose challenge test

Hi ladies, longtime stalker first time poster.

Just a quick Q, does anyone know what strength the glucose challenge test (1 hour test) drink is?

50mg glucose I think - my 1 hour was 50 somethings lol

Pretty sure the 1hr test is 50g and the 2 hr test is 75g.

thanks ladies, i though it was meant to be 50g. I just got my results back and 'failed' the GCT but it was a 75g drink, will have to take it up with my GP next week.

im pretty sure my 1 hour test had 75g written on the bottle and it was green, which i also failed but then i took the 2hour test the other day and it was the clear drink but i didnt look to see what was on the bottle but i failed that also so i dont know if that makes any difference in my situation to having 75g for the first test or not, but not impressed about finding out i have GD

Hi...I have had the 1 and 2 hour tests and the drink was 75g glucose both times. It shouldn't vary between places...but who knows!!!
