Hey guys,
This morning I found a rash on bubs face near his cheekbones, it's not terribly bad, red with tiny bumps, he has always had them on his back too, which I assumed was a sweat rash, and the CHN's have never mentioned it at any of his past checkups. Could he have gotten a sweat rash on his face or is it something else?! Or should I just go to the doctor?
Thanks muchly...

Hi there harmony, is it the same rash thats on his back? Could it be a teething rash?, although it does seem to be too high up for it to be teething rash. Does your bub take a bottle to bed? as i could be a reaction to the milk running to the side and being in the same position for a period of time. I hope its something simple. Maybe it may just go away by its self? Sorry if i have been much help.

Yeah it looks like the one on his back, I know he sweats alot at night on his back. I put moisturiser on his face last night and he may have slept on that side of his head and sweated, I'm not sure?! It started to go away, then came back again... I might see a doc if its still there tomorrow arvie! Put my mind at rest!!! :o

Try a different moisturiser, or leave it off entirely, and see if the rashes improve. I used a baby-specific one for a while but noticed dd's legs were actually getting dryer and with a bumpy non-red rash. I switched to plain old Nivea cream in the blue jar and it cleared itself up. Bath soaps can also cause minor (or sometimes major) skin rashes.
