I am due to have my 4th bub in 6 weeks, due to a 4th degree tear I am now have a C section this time.

Has anyone here had an elective caesarean at King Eddie. Can you give me some feedback pos or neg. Also might seem like a silly request like can you give details of admission, ie what time you had to go in, how long you had to wait for the CS to be done, what the theatre protocol was, did you keep bub in recovery.

Any information greatly appreciated.

i hav never had a c/s at kemh, but my mum has been there a few times for m/c and once bout 12mths ago for still birth cause bubs died at 21weeks and they were lovely there so i dare say u shall hav same experience. i know when i had c/s (different hosp though, joondalup) i had to b in at 6am and was first on list so was in theatre at 8am ish,the next at 9ish and the next at 10ish, of course this is barring any problems emergencys etc. so if u r in morning it is proberbly similar i know it was for my mum who went to glengarry in duncraig.
good luck i hope all goes well and u hav a speedy recovery.
