I've noticed on ebay the two main slings are either a pouch which is non adjustable, or the ring sling. Which one is better do you think?

I'll be the only one using the sling at the moment so size adjustment is not an issue, but ease of use is a big thing for me. I'll be carrying DS on the bus in it so it could be up to 2 hours a day. Any advice?

hmm I chose the ring sling because I plan on losing weight (:o  yeah right) and because I might not be the only one using it and Chris is 1000000x smaller than me!

If I have the hang of it by tomorrow I might have it for the Coffee so you can check it out :) or I'll bring it with me anyway if you did want to see it :)

I used the pouch type with my first 2 kids and after 5mins of use, my neck and shoulders were killing me. They only weighed 5kg and 4kg, so they weren't overly heavy.

I'm looking into the ring sling for this time around.

I use a non adjustable sling and some sort of a wrappy thing it depends on where im going and what im doing. but im thinking of getting a new sling, one with padded shoulder strap. but i love my slings.

I have never tried a ring sling but I have a pouch type sling and love it. DS is over 9kgs now but I can still carry him in it easily.

I've tried a variety of different slings and carriers and by far the best is the simple ring sling. You have the option of so many different positions and it distributes weight evenly across your back so no sore shoulders. I used ours up until DS was about 13kgs when I fell pregnant and didn't want to carry him anymore. They are also so easy to clean (just throw in the washing machine) and dry in no time which is handy for a typical drooling, spewy bub. The only thing, is that I would recommend buying from someone who is willing to provide a lot of aftersales support because they can be tricky at first until you get the hang of it.

hmm, I pulle dout a really old ring sling I had thrown at the back of my cupboard that was a hand-me-down. I couldn't get comfortable but DS found my breast and started feeding within 30 seconds of being put in
