Curious - Implantation and BFPs.

hi all, ok so i wanted to find out:

1 - For those ladies out there that had implantation, how long did it last??

and 2 - Has anyone ever received a bfn on 12DPO but then received a BFP at a later date??

I am really curious to hear ur stories.;)

Hi Hun,

I had implantation pains and spotting the day my AF was due to arrive.

I felt stitch like pains in my lower back and uterus....not really like period pain. Plus it was mostly down my right hand lower side.

Then i had very small amounts of light brown/redish tissue. This all lasted just one day.

I ended up taking at test that day too, which i at first thought was negative. But upon closer inspection i was sure i could see a very very faint second line. I even pulled the test apart as i felt i was going insane staring at this line that may or not be there lol

I re tested 5 days later and got a definate second line.

If you wanted maybe you could try a digital test? It will come up either pregnant or not pregnant. No staring at lines and going crazy! lol

thanks hun, the digital test does sound like a good idea. Wow so it took nearly a week after ur missed AF to see a BFP?! i thought i may have had implantation bleeding but am highly doubting it now. I did do a FRER test on what i thought was 12DPO but it was a negative. Pretty sure my body was just playing silly on me. Thanks for sharing ur story with me xx:D

Except, I did a test at the day before AF was due which was BFN.

I felt like AF was due all day the next day and had some light brown spotting in the morning which then disappeared. So, I did another test the day after AF was due and got the faintest of BFPs.

I did another test the next morning and over the next few days the line got darker. I also did a digital test and got the POSITIVE!

I think the reason I got a BFN initially is because I ovulated really late in my cycle (day20) not day 14 like they expect everyone to. so, when I tested, I was probably only 8 or 9 dpo. :yelclap:

I just got a really strong stabbing pain "down there" and felt like my v-jay was throbbing for a second...

Just wondering... I'm 4 or 5 DPO.

You know what, i may have been able to test again before the five days that i got that really light positive....but i was feeling like maybe i was just going crazy and imagining everything. So i put it off for a little while.

For me, the pains werent in my vagina, they were in my uterus - like a mild stitch. And in my lower back. It was like muscle pains but nothing like ive ever felt before.

I had the same symptoms a month ago.
Stitch really bad lower right side. Then brown spotting for a day. I'm just wondering how long it took people to get preg symptoms after they had this.. I don't want to do preg test as my cycle is all over the place so I don't want constant BFN's to get me down.. So just wonder how long it took for the actual signs of preg without the test if u kno what I mean.. ;)

I have had implantation bleeding 3 times, it was just a pink smear in EWCM. The pains were also just like AF was coming but a week too early.

I was having preg symptoms before the implantation. I was STARVING and tired. Sore boobs started around 5 weeks and morning sickness around 6,7 weeks. But everyone is different so you might not get any or you might get different ones than me.

I had 1 tiny pink spot 3 days before AF was due, this was not normal for me so i did a test and got a negative. I was getting really low cramps for a week before AF due, i tested the day AF was due and got a strong positive i had a blood test that day too and my hcg was 88 i was 3w 3d. The cramps continued for a few weeks but no more spotting. This never happened with my first pregnancy, i am just over 10 weeks now.

Hi,
I had a very, very small amount of red blood followed by brown spotting which I thought WAS my af as it happened the day my period was due. But the spotting was gone By the time the next day arrived.. I thought that was weird and tested for pregnancy and got a BFP!!! So surprised! I didn't get any spotting or implantation pains or anything with DD1 so I didn't know what to expect.. But I seriously jut thought it was the beginning of my period- until it disappeared!
