We did it!!!!!!!!!

Today has been a very emotional day for me, Its my baby girls first birthday!

But despite being sad that my little one is growing up I have paused to pat my self on the back!
I have successfully breastfeed my baby for 12 months!! At this very moment 12 months ago i was breastfeeding my baby for the first time!!

Despite having a c-section
Despite having supply issues
Despite being a "young mum"
Despite my baby being diagnosed as failing to thrive
Despite my depression
Despite the pressure I received to formula feed
Despite not breastfeeding my first baby...

Despite all of these things and many more we did it!!! We successfully breastfeed for one whole year!!!!!!!!

I am sorry i just had to share and hope that i can inspire someone else to persist with breast-feeding because it is so very rewarding and if it wasn't for some of the ladies on here then i probably wouldn't have been inspired to keep it up as long as i have!

I have struggled with breastfeeding from day 1. DD was premmie and had a terrible suck reflex, then my milk didn't come in for weeks and now I have really low supply. I have thought about giving up so many times...

You have inspired me to just keep going though, thank you :hugs:
