Hi all
My son will be 4 in December and has been TT for exactly one year.
It originally took him 8 wks to poo on his potty and has been a very slow learning process ever since.
His wee's have been totally under control (even over night) since the very beginning.
He is not scared of the toilet and is really proud of himself when he does poo in the toilet (and we make a very big deal of how great it is etc etc) but yet he will still have times where he poo's his jocks twice a day. When I ask him why, he just says "cos I just did" and I can never get a proper reason out of him.
what can I do??
I started out being really calm and reassuring etc, but it didn't work, so then started to gently tell him off (cos he does know better) but nothing works.
I have thought about a star chart of some kind- has anyone done this and it has worked??? and what were the rule, prizes or rewards etc???
Anyone been through the same thing?
We are going through so many jocks (cos unless it is just one hard ball I don't have the stomach to empty and wash them) which is fine cos Big W are cheap, but I just worry cos he will be 4 soon and I would have thought he'd be well and truley past this stage by now!
