Defence Wives...?

Just wondering if there are any other Defence Force Wives out there with little ones, I know that we cant really discuss what our partners do, but atleast we know we have something in common... :p

Its kinda hard when they are away for long periods at a time, so I just thought that maybe there are others out therewho want that little extra support during these times...

I'm not a defence wife but I remember being an army brat for he first few years of my life while Dad was in the army if that helps.

Hi Amye,

I too am a defence wife with a little boy and another one on the way. My partner has only been in the Army a little over a year now, but my son and I have been finding it a little had to adjust with his work.

It is good to know that there is another person whom I can talk and maybe grab some advice for the hard times.

My partner has to go away for a month soon and I do not know what I am going to do with my son for he is really attached to his Dad. Do you have any advice on this for me.
