I have some sunglasses that I got DD from pumpkin patch.
I was just wondering if babies acutally use sunglasses all that much during summer or are they just a total waste of money???
If they arn't name some good brands :D
bought some cheapies just for the fun of it, But they didnt stay on for too long

My DS has had sunnies since he was 3 months old.....He always wears them when out side....
Childrens eyes need protecting, just as much as ours do......if you start making them wear them early on, they wont mind them later on...IYKWIM...
Just make sure they are uv 15 + and meet Australian standards

we got ozzy some baby banz, they were $20 so i'm keeping a very close eye on them. he is getting used to them and they are lasting longer on his face each time we try them - hopefully by summer it'll be second nature to him :)
Babybanz ones are great, DS wore them from about 4mths old til they didn't fit anymore, and now DD wears them

One thing I have noticed, more with DD than DS, is that unless she has the sun in her eyes she will pull them off...she does the same thing with her hat, usually when we are in the car so it doesn't matter quite so much.

I'm another one for baby banz. I got a cheap pair of sunnies from the chemist for DS when he was around 3 months, but he kept pulling them off! I had no problem with the baby banz though as they strap around the head - like swimming goggles.
The are pricey, but I've seen them on ebay before so maybe you could pick up a pair from there? :detective:

Gemma loves her sunnies to my surprise. She smiles when we put them on her.
They do come with the band to go behind her head to keep them on.

Summer has had a few pairs since she was born & at first they were just a complete waste of money (i didnt spend more then $20 on them though!) as she wouldnt keep them on or would break them. Now she has just a pair of Dora ones that cost $18 & she wears them sometimes, she smiles & laughs when we put them on her but wont keep them on her for long. We take them off her once she isnt wearing them we take them off her straight away so they dont break!

I bought some BabyBanz for my little man too and he just loves them, despite the fact that he usually doesn't like hats or anything on his face. He actually gets quite upset when we take them off him! We spend quite a lot of time outdoors, gardening or walking or at the beach, and I think it is so important to protect his precious skin and eyes.
my ds has soem but he would rather chew on them:laughing:
