ivf and antidepressant medication

:) would love to know if anyone has been on antidepressant medication when they are doing ivf any info would be great

me again:kiss: , most of them are ok but as this nurse told me without me being able to tell her the name of that particular antidepressant they dont know for sure, sorry i cant help further.

it is zoloft that i am on so i hope this will help you any info would be great . thankyou again

I was on Zoloft for a few months while doing IVF. I changed to a different one as it made me loss my apetite. Check with your GP or your IVF clinic. The medical board or TGA grade drugs that they regard more harmful to your unborn baby. ie grade 1, 2 etc. By memory Zoloft was OK.
My doctors said when you get pregnant you can slowly reduce your dosage if you need to.
I was on antidepressants for 12 months. Now happy, health and drug free. :smiliedance:
