Clomid questions?

Hi,

I am currently on CD18 of my first clomid cycle and I have no signs of ovulation as yet. I took 25mg from CD 2-6. I do ovulate on my own but very sporadically we never know when its going to happen and my cycles are irregular.

I have a few questions:

1. For those of you on Clomid, what day did you ovulate?

2. Were you taking metformin also, or just clomid?

3. I have only had clomid so far but I have metformin and I was thinking about starting it now to see if it will push my body to ovulate. Do you think that might work?

I don't know if this will be much help to you, but I took Clomid for the first time last month. I was on 50mg on CDs 4-8 to help me ovulate "better" as I can ovulate any time between CD 15 - 25. I O'ed on CD16 last month.

One thing no one warned me about was that it can lengthen your LP - I was starting to get excited when I was 2 days late, but then AF arrived on 17DPO :crying:

With DS2 I was on 50mg Clomid CD 4-8, I was not on metformin. Even with the Clomid I still ovulated late I think it was CD 21, but managed to conceive with it first cycle.

Yeah, I o'd on cd 18 and my cycle was 31 days long.

I received a + opk but don't know if this means I actually o'd??

Can you have an anovulatory cycle but still receive a +opk .. hmmm :confused:

Hello, I was also on the lowest dose & I finally ovulated on CD 24!! We were going to cancel the cycle as nothing was happening but luckily waited a few more days and surprise there was an egg :). I had low estrogen so wasn't ovulating which was my reason to take Clomid. We fell pregnant our first month and now have a beautiful daughter who turns 4 months next week. Best of luck, it's very exciting and it works!!
