Hey,

I just have a question for those ladies who have had twin baby showers or are planning one.
How far were you/will you be when you had yours? I will be 23 weeks when I have mine, do you think that is too early? I just wanted to get it out of the way before Christmas, before it gets too hot and before I start to get too big and uncomfortable. A few of my friends who have had singletons have asked if I think 23 weeks is a bit early and I have said I want it out of the way just incase it gets a bit hard to get about later on or I end up on bed rest or go into labour early. I just want to be organised.

Does anyone else think its too early? Your comments would be greatly appreciated!! :)

I had mine at 31 weeks If I remember correctly....I was huge and uncomfortable then, but everyone was happy enough to pass me everything and do everything for me..lol..

Personally i think 23 weeks is too early, but everyone is different....definitely better to have it earlier than too late, as you said incase of bed rest etc.....

All the best...! :D

Mines this Sunday and I'll be 32 weeks. Everyone told me this was too late so...

I am big and uncomfortable but feel ok.

I think that it's your baby shower so you
should get to have it whenever you want.

I dont think its too early, it will only be a few more weeks and you will be uncomfortable so at least by having it now you will enjoy it.

I was hospitalised by 29 weeks so missed out on a baby shower. I had planned to have a meet the babies BBQ instead but I was kidding myself to do something like that within weeks of getting home

Enjoy your day!

I was... um.. *thinking, thinking*... Just shy of 35 weeks.. It was the day after I finished work. I was huge, but it was very low-key- a sit down lunch at the local winery. :flowerz:

I guess another reason for having it so early is because I wanted it before Christmas and usually the weeks leading up to Christmas are quite busy with family things and work dinners plus there are a few birthdays and the only weekend available really was the weekend we plan to have it.
I'm one for having every organised early and not having to worry about it later on I don't want to leave it til later and maybe miss out on having one!!

I never got to have one because bubs came at 28 weeks, so next time I'll be having mine at around 23-24 weeks. Don't want to miss out next time!! Just do what works best for you.

I had mine about 1.5 week after my bubs were born as it was already organised. This also meant that I could see all family and friends rather than them coming to the hospital. I think mind must have been around 31 weeks.
