Strange Signs TMI

Needing Advice:

My DH and I are planning to start TTC#1 at the end of October so I stopped taking my pill after my LMP (7th August). I have been on the pill for 4.5yrs and previous to that my periods were a regular 28day cycle.
Since coming off the pill (excuse the TMI) I have been extra Horny (I feel 16 again haha!) and DH and I have been intimate (but withdrawing). If i was to base my cycle on a regular 28days we would have been intimate right when I was ovulating. MY next period is due 4th September.
This week there was a day when I had an unusual amount (two big globs) of CM that basically fell out of me when I went to the toilet and I noticed it was slightly brownish. Also there was a day when I was at work and was very light-headed and now just my nipples (not my boobs) are very sesitive and sore so Im very confused!

My question is could this been signs of pregnancy or is this just my body regulating after coming off the pill? Has anyone else had these symptoms when coming off the pill?

Hi MegACT.

- I haven't personally had any of these things when coming off the pill, But I did during my first PG - ( I didn't actually realise I was PG till 3 months into my pregnancy so hindsight is a good thing.)

I had been of the pill for 2 months when I conceived him,

I know a lot of people who have conceived in their first month off the pill, So I would be buying that test soon.

Hey there, my two pgs were concieved in first cycle off the pill. We weren't even "trying" that hard.
I'm thinking of going back on the pill so i can concieve this time round.
I was on the pill 3.5 yrs, first time and around 1.5 yrs second time.
Remember that the pre ejectulation fluids do carry spermies as well.;)

I'm another who fell pg pretty quickly after going off the pill. My DD was concieved in the 2nd mth off the pill. I wasn't expecting it to happen so fast coz we weren't really trying to hard to get pg at that stage, and also coz before I had DS I was never regular (I had never been on the pill til after DS was born).

Your symptoms could be preg signs...I'd be buying a test soon :)

This is my first post but sounds like we might be the same. This is my first month of the pill, we are not what I would say TTC just yet but would be happy to be pg if we were. I just hope Im not reading to much into my "symptoms". My nipples are soooooooooo sore its unbelieveable I have been wearing my sports bra everywhere. My bb's dont seem to be sore just my nipples. I am ridiculously exhausted, I have a head cold, not sleeping well. Not alot of CM. Gasy (TMI Sorry) but not normal for me. Last full AF stared 2nd Aug so roughly due yesterday if my cycle is 28 days coming off pill. (Levlin ED) I did HPT last night BFN!!!!!! Dont know if it was just to soon to test or what but I hate all this wondering.

Any other symptoms your having would be great to hear of.
Im going NUTS waiting.

Yep - i was like that after coming off the pill and id been on it for 16 years - i never had cm while on the pill and didnt get the whole breast swell thing before and after af. Your body will regulate itself - but it is commonly thought most women hyper ovulate(yes - very technical term - not!) the month after they finish the pill - so you may have been extra fertile! Wait til af due then test if you still feel strange.

Since posting I no longer have sore nipples but like Crystabelle I have not being sleeping well at all and have had a headache and gasy.
Im feeling pre-menstrual so expecting AF to come next week. Not planning on doing a test, will just wait an see :fingerscrossed:

I did another HPT this morning..... BFN. I think I'll stop testing now and just wait... No AF yet but slight AF type cramps last night. I'll be on the watch out today for AF but hope she doesn't show.

I fell preg with DS1 straight after stopping the pill and felt very pre-menstrual...it took me a while to accept that I was preg and gonna stay that way cause I always felt like AF was coming.....

Also, I wouldn't think the withdrawal method would be too reliable because like Adria said the pre-ejaculation fluid can contain swimmers....
