back to work on Monday

Hi everyone,

My little boy is now 8 months old and I am going back to work 2 days per week as we need the extra cash:eek:

Anyhow I am just wondering how others who returned to work coped leaving their little ones?

I think it will be me having the separation anxiety as I really dont want to leave him:crying:

That first morning can be pretty tough.

Make sure you have some tissues and touch up makeup. Have everything organised the night before and get there a bit earlier so you can compose yourself. See if your partner can drop you off the first morning for support.

Once you start working though you should be okay. Being at work can help you to appreciate bubs more and give you a well earned break.

Contacting the carer in the middle of the day can put you at ease too.

I started saturday and go back wednesday and then a few days a week after this... but I guess I am in a different boat to you as my children will be home with my DF as I do nightfill. I hope it all works out well for you all.
