Hi there everyone!!!
I have been waiting and waiting to see if I would be one of the first May people. My partner and I have been trying for babies for 8 years all up! We have a dd who is now 4 who was conceived with our first ever iui, after years of clomid and all the rest. I then had all sorts of post ceaser issues and operations and tried another 3 iui's last year that did not work. At 138kg thanks to lots of hormones and comfort food and "wont power" as DH calls it, I decided enough was enough and lost 15kg before we toddled off back to our beloved Prof who was happy to give us one last go at an iui. So I started this cycle right back on the 20th of JULY!!!!!!!(200 klm driven every 2nd day for blood tests and scans was determination!!) Yep 30 days it took me to get to surge naturally...which I wanted to do to increase our chances. Potentially we could get up to 3 if it has worked.I would LOVE to have a litter!! I had my last Pregnyl injection last Wed and spoke to the nurse yesterday and I told her I am going nuts and neeeeed tooooo knowwwww!!!!! She said that I should have my bloods done monday for confirmation, can do a urine test over the weekend so I snuck a wee test last night and it came up + and have been searching the net :detective: to see how long Pregnyl stays in the body for and I think I found 33 hours...Now I hope it was not the Pregnyl still in my body but 9am wed to last night is well over 33 hours. I have a good feeling about it all. If it works my Due date will be May 8 2007. I have a mouth that is filling like a dam with saliva so that is a good sign yeh?? I am sooooooo excited!!!
