DD is 14 months and I finally got my ergo last week (had it on layby :highfive:) and decided today was the day to try it out... and she loved it! And I loved it!
E loved looking around and being so tall as well as giving me random hugs when walking, I loved having my hands free, being able to walk/get thing done quickly, and it was really comfortable.
I'm so impressed and will be doing this again real soon.
They're great aren't they!
DD will be 2 in a month and she still gets popped in the ergo when I need her to, especially shopping or at events like fetes and such
I really want one for my next bub. I used a hug-a-bub and baby bjorn with DS (have since learned the baby bjorns are a no-no) and I think the ergos are wonderful because you can put the babe on your back and still get things done!
Just wish I didn't have scoliosis.. carrying older babies/children is a definite no for me anyway :(
Sounds like you'll definitely get your moneys worth out of yours

DD is only 14 months and 10kg, so she will be able to be carried for a little while. And we're due to have our second in Feb so he'll be able to use it too. :highfive:
DH has actually asked if we can get another one so one of us can carry DD and the other can carry DS. Bless him. :goodvibes:

E&B, was it uncomfortable wearing it with a baby bump? I REALLY want an Ergo and I would love to use one with DD, I think she would love it, but I've been holding off buying it, thinking I probably won't be able to wear her and walk around with my big belly!

I didn't find it uncomfortable, it was a lot more comfortable then carrying her on my hip without it.

That is adorable. I'd love to see couples with their babies in ergos!! I think it sounds like a great idea :D

I have pretty bad scoliosis and use the ergo with my 10mth old DS who is 11.5 kg's with no problems. Its very comfortable unless wear it for more than 4 hours at a time. (tried that once on a trip. was sore afterwards)
so less than 4 hours in back carry position works fine. You might want to try it and see if its as comfy for you. I got one because i could no longer lift my son and carry him for any length of time without it. :(
Its been a lifesaver:D
Yay, glad you both love it!! I adore our ergo :D

I had a mild form of it too since corrected but I find back carries better as your back is naturally stronger than your stomach muscles so I can go longer and with less strain on the back and my bub is nearly 12kg now!
