Hello Ladies,

I had my 13 week scan yesterday and am happy to say that my test results were great, so super happy about that.

However, just wondering how many of you asked for a gender prediction this early on and was the Sonographer right or wrong in the end?

I have a wonderful 4 year old DS whom I adore, however I am longing for a DD.

The sonographer took an image and then said she would have to get it checked. I went back into the waiting room and she came back saying 'well, I think about a 70% chance your having another boy.'

I was a little crushed, but I do feel very blessed to be having a healthy pregnancy after suffering a miscarriage earlier in the year and will love the bub with all of my heart.

Will just have to wait for my 19 week scan, I am so impatient though.

Any suggestions from my scan?

The sonographer was correct at guessing my babies nub... well it was confirmed at the 19wk scan anyway. IMO the accuracy depends on the sonographer, the position of the baby and the quality of the pic.

I can't see a Nub in your pic sorry, is that the pic the sonographer guessed from? Also I'm not sure they are accurate if baby is upside down as appears in your photo even if the nub could be seen...

Do you have any other pics?

But I agree with Waterlily, and would not be too deflated yet.

Congrats on a healthy baby :goodvibes:
