almost 4 months old, beastfed, hasnt pooed in 3 days

hi, just a question if its normal for a breastfed baby to go numerous days without doing a poo? she usually does a poo a day, but its been 3 days. is this normal or should i see a dr?

It is normal for breastfed babies to go for days without pooing :yes:
Just be prepared for a possible poo explosion when bub does eventually poo ;)

Totally, 100%, absolutely normal!

It is sooo normal for breastfed bubs to go up to 10 days without pooing! When DD was fully breastfed, she used to go 7-8 days between poops, but golly gosh did we know about it when she did finally go :laughing: She only started doing daily poos once I started solids.

I agree with the others - completely normal. It's normal for exclusively breastfed bubs to go for 10 days without a poo - or to poo several times every day, and everything in between :)

It's because breastmilk is such a complete food, there can be very little 'waste' produced from it for them to poo out....so don't stress :)
