I am new to the area and was wondering if anyone in the Kurri/Maitland/Lovedale/Branxton/Greta area would like to meet for regular play dates and lunches?
I am 30, married and have 2 girls who are nearly 2 years old and 6 months old.

Hi jadorevous
I live around the area and am 31, married with a 6 month old boy.
I would be happy to meet up with you.
Not much help for a play mate for your 2 yr old but hopefully someone else will reply too. :)

That sounds great!
Can you PM me with your location and what days you are free and where you might like to meet?
:)

Hi TT!
I love Tighes hill. That's where I'd like to live but DH works up this way.
I do come down that way a bit. What days are you free?

I'm in East Seaham and would do anything to get to know a few locals. New to the area from Sydney and the isolation is really gettiing to me.

Hey, just posted in the Cessnock thread, but figured I'd post here too.

I'm moving to Cessnock with my three year old daughter in 2013. I have exactly two friends in NSW, and they both live in Sydney :( I don't drive, so I bus around. (or I get my ever loving DH to drive me.) But I love having people over to my place. I will reimburse you the effort of driving with food. Nutella frosted cupcakes, anyone? And if I don't have people over then I have no incentive to clean the house up...
I like befriending people in my area, I like being able to walk to people's houses to drop in. In a non stalkery way.

I'm currently studying nursing at university of Newcastle, but thinking of switching to Cessnock's Tafe.
