Its official im having a heart operation

Well its official im having a heart operation i signed the papers today.Its good news and bad.Im having a procedure called rodiofrequency ablation they go through the main artery in your leg and burn out the extra pathway in my heart.There are 3 main complications bleeding and bruising around the wound in your leg,not being able to find the pathway,Not ablating it properly and feeling of burning/warmth near your heart not to mention the rare posibility of dying(i dont wanna even think).I will be awake but sedated this is the part im scared about:( .All my echocardiogram results are good the WPW didnt show up on the ecg this time but that dosnt mean i dont have it.Im scared to get this op because its the main organ in your body and anything can happen.I dont know what else to say at the moment im shocked its happening so quick i was sure they would have done more tests but :no: .Im :fingerscrossed: that the op will go well and they will burn it out and will neva have another problem(i wish it was that easy).

Sweety, I know its an important organ, but with any op these days you get given all possible scenarios of the outcome of an op!! The worst possible scenarios are very rare........you will be fine :yes: Just think, in 2 months you will be allll better! :yes: :hugs:

:hugs: Hi Jac, i know i will speak to you lots before your op but Goodluck anyway. I know you will be fine and you will be all better after the op, no more palpatations or high heart rate and you can live life normally without worry anymore.
