View Full Version : Help... soooo over bbh petites
So I made the mistake of going out and buying 12 bbh petites only to find they keep leaking.
I have Itti Bitti Dlish snap in ones which are awesome and haven't had a leak with, and the Itti Bitti Dlish All in ones haven't been too bad either; yet every time I have a BBH Petite on my bub it leaks.
I have a boy with chubby legs who is about 7kg and using mediums in both brands. I have tried folding the insert in a heap of different ways but with no luck - should I just sell the lot or are there any suggestions on how to stop the leak???
Thanks

Perhaps start swapping them out for Itti Bittis?
I personally LOVE BBH, but have not had a petite BBH, as my daughter is a bit too stocky for a petite nappy.
Maybe offer one petite up for swaps with a regular minky BBH and see if the regular style would suit you better. I haven't had a single BBH leak.

I just went and bought ten more today because they are the only ones that don't leak on my boy! Isn't it funny how they're all so different for different bubs?
I found the itti bitti d'lish's just FANTASTIC for my DD, but that they didn't do the job at all for my son.
He is 8 months old and 9.5kg and is in the larges. He's a chubby bub but I do the leg snaps tighter and the waist snaps looser.
ittis are really great, but I've found that now that my DD is 26 months old they're just too `itti' for her. The wing droop is much worse on her than it ever was because even though she's only 12.5kg she's quite tall.
My son is in larges too, so I'm going to put him in the ittis (boosted) for naps and use the petites on both of them.
I agree with NCB and would see if you can swap them or sell them. I've sold all of the nappies mine have grown out of or that I haven't used and have pretty much made all my money back. Gotta love MCNs! :D
Thanks for your advice, where's the best place to start selling them

I have a medium itti SIO to swap for a petite if you'd like. Haven't tried the petites yet, so I can't swap all just in case they don't suit my DD. (I have heaps of itti's that I'm not using anymore because they just aren't a good fit on her ) PM me if you are interested.

petites work well on ds. he is on the last snap at the bottom row and the top row is snapped much tighter so fit really well. sometimes i fold over the inserts at the top of the nappy as opposed to the back where the insert snaps in, to create more cloth at the front where he wees most
hi pdogs mum, I have just pm you
