Just wanted to share a really good, easy recipe I stole off my MIL. It is totally yummy. It has curry powder in it, so if you want your kids to eat it maybe add a little less curry (it isn't really that hot anyway):
Place 4 - 6 lamb forequarter chops in a casserole dish (I have used veal chops also and it is just as yummy!). Add a sliced onion, 2 tsp. curry powder, 1 tbsp. tomato paste, contents of "Thick Vegetable Soup Mix" (comes in those powdered soup sachets - can use the beef one if you like) and 2 cups of water. Cover and bake 180 degrees C for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
We just serve it on mashed potato or with rice. Cheap, easy and tasty!
