View Full Version : Clucky Levels = High

A few days ago, my DH admitted to me that he was clucky. It made me happy to know we were finally on the same page. But now, I find my own cluckiness lvls reach stages of pure frustration, and even jealousy of all my pregnant friends.
I have a long logical list on why I shouldn't even think of having another baby yet.
-My mum and sister are still here. So no room for another one.
-I am a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding next year, she may not feel comfortable or be happy with the idea of a pregnant bridesmaid.
- It might push back our dream of buying a house, because of money.
- I want my DS on his way out of nappies, so I am only buying 1 lot of nappies. If possible.
But on the not so logical front.
- I want another baby.
It doesn't help having my pregnant friends all come to me for advice.
My step sis is having her baby at the same hospital as me, and I went with her on the hospital tour. It brought back alot of memories as we entered the room I had my son.
So I am not sure how to contain myself....
No replies?
I always thought the 2nd kid was a no-brainer. Do it. First or third is a bigger question.

Ex and i used to be on the same page then i lost our 3rd baby. Then he decided no more. Gah. So i will say go for it before your dh changes his mind.

As much as we really like the idea of trying now, way too many things seem to be getting in the way of this...
I guess more frustrated with things then anything right now.

Hey Broodmare
i know it's hard.
I guess you will have to decide how much it would set you back to have another baby. If it can be more worth your while to get your house first maybe you should put those clucky feelings at bay for a bit.
You'd probably be able to reach your dream of getting a house fairly quickly and then have another bub. It's a lot harder to do those things with another baby.
Bu-ut it could also be easier to have them both now and then focus on the savings later rather than breaking it up.
How many kids do you want ??
I am SOOOOOOOOO clucky. But i just got engaged, finishing uni this year and we're buying a house next year and getting married 2012 and travelling. So i just try my best to IGNORE the damn chickens.
So hard. but goodluck with whatever you decide.

I think we could stretch for 1 more. And we really only want one more. But space is an issue, that is really it.
The other thing I didn't mention is I have PCOs. And it may delay my chances to even get pregnant.

Thanks!
The general plan was, next year I go get checked out and see what the PCO's is looking like. Cause we found out when I was 7 weeks pregnant in the ultrasound that I had it. It explained ALOT.
I was told that since I was pregnant, that the rush of estrogen would help clear some of the cysts. And I may have better chances afterwards.
So basically I am just going to see how things are looking.
I was going to try and get fit and prepared next year, and then we start in 2012.
BUT if the PCO's is still bad.. (because it was pretty bad, my left ovary was a 3rd of it's normal size!) I will need to start pretty much.. ASAP....
