Moving to jamboree heights, middle park, jindalee area!!!

As of jan/feb 2011 me and my 2 year old daughter will be moving from the northside of brisbane down the centenery towards jamboree heights, middle park etc... :yelclap: we are moving down to live with my partner and his kids as they go to school in the are...
as i have only lived on the northside my whole life im looking for some information on the area... about activities that i can do with dd in the area, about any good daycares... basically any information on the area at all...:thumbsup:

I don't live there but we've been househunting there a few times and have friends there, and it has a really lovely feel to it. :-)

We lived in Jindalee for a few years and loved it. Has a nice community feel, great parks and is a well established area. Has Mt Ommaney shopping centre and the library just down the road which was really handy.

If you are anywhere near Chatterbox which is right beside the Jindalee State School they are good.

A lot of the childcares around middle park and Jamboree Heights are ABC which i wouldn't be too sure about.

Hi there

I live in Middle Park and i love the area! My kids go to centenary early learning its fantastic - they have fully qualified teachers from senior kindy onwards and a terrific curriculum.

There's three schools in the area - Jindalee SS, Jamboree Heights SS and Middle Park SS as well as Good News Lutheran School.

Rowdy Rascals playcentre is at Jindalee, Mt O shopping centre is great and the library have kiddie sessions as well.

There is also the ymca which has playgroup, kindergym and that is at Jamboree Heights.

I recently moved to Seventeen Mile Rocks and the area is fab. I have a two year old boy who I take to the library storytelling on Fridays at 10.30 and my four yr old attends C&K at Jamboree Heights.

Very family friendly area with everything close by. Bulk billing Doctors at Jindalee (Jindalee Care Med Practice) too which is great.
