Hope this is the right section.

Does anyone know of a good swim school in south Brisbane. Annerley area, happy to drive up to 15 mins away but closer would be better.

DS is 2 (28months) and I really want to get him into swimming classes asap. We live next to a park with a creek and I fear the worse as he has escaped our home twice.:(

I also think it is necessary to know how to swim regardless. But i want it to be fun for him aswell.

I also want to start DD (7 weeks) asap. Have wanted to get ds in swimming classes for a LONG time. So finally going too.

Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated!:yes::highfive:

We go to one in Kenmore (which is too far for you), but we used to go to the ones at the UQ pool.

A new term will be starting in a couple of weeks so now would be a good time to enrol. the only downside is that you have to pay a couple of dollars for parking as it's all metered parking at UQ.

I don't think they start til 6 months though. I remember looking into it and only a few schools start their lessons at 3 months.

If you've got two kids (and one under normal starting age), I wonder if it would be viable to get private lessons with somebody, instead?

ETA: the other good thing about UQ is that they run lessons 7 days a week.

I'm not sure where Annerley is but we go to Dunlop Park Pool at Corinda. I've been really pleased with everything there. Been taking DD since she was 14 months (almost a year now). A new term starts in a few weeks.
