So I am working one day a week as a Mummy Nanny for a 10 month old and really loving it, but I would love another couple of days a week as well. I am on findababysitter.com and weneedananny.com and check out seek an careerone, etc.

As parents where would you go if you were looking for a nanny to care for your child/ren? I don't think that I can sign up with any agencies as I do not have a cert. III or diploma, and also probably because I am a Mummy Nanny.

TIA

i used to get lots of nannying jobs through my uni job board. Even if you're not a student you could go check out the boards if there's a uni campus near you.
Does the family you work for know anyone who might be interested in a mummy nanny?

Oh and the gumtree website.

mylocalhelpers.com.au

I was looking for a mummy nanny/ babysitter there recently and there wasn't much choice...there was a current affairs program about them round 8 weeks ago from memory, good luck

Do u mind me asking your hourly rate for mummy/nannying?

Oh yeah, I forgot gumtree. I need to put another ad on there. I charge $15 for one child, $18 for 2. The family I work for said they'd let me know if anyone mentioned it as the mother was originally looking to share a nanny but the ones who have contacted her so far were after the same day so that doesn't work.

Will check out mylocalhelpers too, thanks!

Try www.babysittersguide.mobi, I got a job from there that I love.

I'd also suggest having business cards made, because they're really, really useful if you give a few to your existing clients and they can give them to friends. I've gotten two jobs from that.

I got mine from www.vistaprint.com.au, they only charge you for shipping and you get 250 cards. Altogether it cost me about $15 because I opted for some of the extra options.
