intelligender you failed!

just reporting to all that i used intelligender this preg and have just had the opposite gender to intelligenders prediction super clearly defined by gender scan:yes: sonographer said she was 110% sure as it was that obvious lol.

so big fat fail for intelligender from me:rolleyes:
also wrong were chinese gender chart, red cabbage test, and mothers intuition:o

How far where you when you did the intelligender? A man I know that sells them said that early like from 8 weeks is only about 60% accurate but if you do them at 15 ish weeks for all the ones he sold where 100% he checks at a 18 week ultrasound for free to confirm.

The intelligender failed for me too! I did one at about 10 weeks and then another at about 14 weeks (which actually blew up :eek: so i'm not sure what that reading would have been) and another replacement one (from the one that blew up) at about 16 weeks and that was wrong too! I did all the right things and they still were all wrong! Waste of money for me but i was curious to see if it would be right so i took a risk.

I don't really mind what the gender is, as long as bub is happy and healthy :goodvibes:

from things i've read intelligender is only ever 50% right, meaning it's a waste of money.

Test it on a non pregnant woman and it will still give you a result.

Isn't intelligender basically the same test as the cabbage test (Ph)? I only did the cabbage test so we'll see how it goes, we'll hopefully find out in about 5 weeks :)

A friend of mine did it at about 14 weeks pregnant and it said girl. At their scan they found out boy...

It's got a 50-50 chance of being right, so if it actually says it's right 50% of the time I guess they're not marketing it as something it's not... :rolleyes:

I did a pH test when i was around 15 weeks, and it came back as boy....i'm having a girl.

I heard that pH tests are only accurate (as much as they are anyway) before 12 weeks, so i wonder why intelligender and the cabbage test arent' the same?

i did it at 11 weeks and it claims to be "proven over 90%accurate" i still have the box. so not sure where the 50% is coming from:confused: it has a money back guarantee i think if u register your details and pic so ill do that but still annoyed lol.

I did Intelligender at 15 weeks and it said boy. A scan two weeks later showed that I'm having a girl (and confirmed again at Morph Scan).

Cabbage Test


•Go to the store and buy a red cabbage. The size of the cabbage does not matter at all.

Cut the cabbage into big chunks. The smaller you cut the chunks, the better your results will turn out.

Boil some water on the stove and put in the chunks of cabbage.

Let the water and cabbage boil for about 10 minutes or so. When the ten minutes is up, remove it from the heat.

Grab a cup and go to the bathroom! Pee into the cup.

In a separate cup, mix 1 part of your urine to 1 part of the water that the cabbage was boiled in. No need to save the cabbage unless you want to eat it. It's pretty tasty, so you might want to eat it!

If the urine/cabbage water turns pink or red then this indicates a boy result! If the urine/cabbage water turns purple, this indicates a girl result.
