DD2 has a dislocated Radial... I feel so helpless.
They done a x-ray today and they think that it has put itself back in, but the poor little thing cant lift or use her arm... She has to have it in a sling, but she wont wear it.
How anyone else had this happen to their child? I don't even know how she done it...:crying: I feel like such a bad mum//

:hugs: Ouch!!! You poor thing!!! NO NO NO - you ar not a bad mum!! Sure - if you swung her across the room by her arm and it dislocated maybe I would say yes, but no, kids play and kids get hurt....that's all!
She will come good soon - maybe a bandage would work a little better than a sling - is it in one already?? I find if the boys have needed to have a drip put in and they bandage their arm to keep it in, they don't really use it even though it doesn't 'hurt' they subconsciously think it's best to keep still, then as soon as it's unbandaged they play like normal.....maybe that would give it some support and help her rest it???
My neice fractured her radius, but not dislocated, so she had plaster so obviously that was better than a silly old sling!!!
:hugs: to both of you - and please don't do the guilt thing!!!
OK Mel ... if you are a bad Mummy then I am an ogre!
Seriously ... you poor thing ... Abby must be miserable, but there is no use making yourself miserable over something you couldn't prevent!
Big gentle hugs for Abby from us and a huge hug of comfort to you! Luckily, kids bounce back incredibly quickly and they heal just as fast.
Take care my friend! :hugs:
